Community Invited to Winterfest Dinner at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church

Winterfest Dinner will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 250 N. Blackberry Ave., on Saturday, Jan. 28, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This dinner is a wonderful opportunity to come together with neighbors for fellowship and laughter – and great food! Donations are warmly welcomed to help with the event and to help serve the needs of our neighbors in the community. Stay informed about future activities by checking both the Forum and the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church public group Facebook site.

For those interested in worship, the congregation now meets in person and would love to have new visitors. Sunday worship starts in the sanctuary at 10 a.m. The worship service is also offered online through the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Facebook site; tune in live at 10 or watch the recording when convenient. Children’s Sunday School is also available during worship time, following the children’s sermon. Minister Don Corson leads worship the first three Sundays of the month while lay leaders conduct worship on the fourth and occasional fifth Sundays.

While the church office is not regularly staffed, phone messages (360-374-6343) and emails ( are now checked mid-day every Tuesday through Thursday. The congregation looks forward to being able to connect with people more easily.
