Forks Drama Club Students to present Chicago; The Musical (Teen Edition)

The house lights of the Forks High School darkened. Backstage, the actors rifled through props, and last-minute script readings, and applied the final touches of make-up, whispering and giggling.

Costumes are zipped, buttoned and assembled. It’s the moment the students at FHS have been waiting for.

It’s time for “All That Jazz”!

Set in the jazz age of the roaring 20s Chicago: Teen Edition tells the story of Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, two women searching for stardom and being tried for murder. Both of them land in the Cook County Jail and plot their comeback to the spotlight and release from prison. There’s greed, scandal, betrayal, and a dash of Razzle Dazzle!

Forks Drama Club will present Chicago: Teen Edition on Friday, March 1, at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. in the FHS Commons.

Tickets are $5 for adults, at the door. Children are Free.
