Makers Market showcases local talent and art

Rainforest Council for the Arts will showcase local talent at a Pre-Holiday MAKERS MARKET on Saturday, Nov. 12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Rainforest Arts Center. If you are interested in having a table to sell your handmade items, an application can be picked up at either the Timber Museum or Forks Forum office.

Space will be limited and filled on a first-come-first-served basis. If your item is small, you can share your table with a friend. Fee is $10 per table, or by donation of a handmade item for our raffle basket (minimum $10 value).

Also featured will be a Christmas tree where you can hang your handmade ornaments for sale. NO COMMERCIAL ITEMS WILL BE ALLOWED. The purpose is to showcase the talent and creativity of our local artists and craftsmen.Doors will open at 10 a.m. for shopping at this FREE public event. FUN ART DAY will follow on Sunday, Nov. 13, Noon – 3 p.m. Bring the kids and let them make a card or small art project. For additional information, call Linda Offutt at 909-762-6859.
