New book on Lake Crescent written by Alice Alexander

Alice Alexander is signing copies of her new book Lake Crescent – Gem of the Olympics at the Forks Timber Museum on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the Forks Timber Museum, with museum curator Sherrill Fouts serving as hostess. The Forks Timber Museum will be the only outlet for now in Forks for Alexander’s book.

The author is also signing her book in Port Angeles during the Heritage Days celebration, on Friday, Aug. 17 from  6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Museum at the Carnegie.

Alexander is a member of a pioneer Upper Elwha family, and also the author of A Pioneer Family, Homesteading on the Upper Elwha.
