Clallam PUD and the Bonneville Power Administration cut power to the West End between 12:01 a.m. and 6 a.m.

The outage was the second of four scheduled as the BPA maintains its substation at Sappho.

In August, a mishap during the maintenance cut power for most of the afternoon of Aug. 17.

The outage hit Clallam County PUD customers in Forks, Sekiu, Clallam Bay, Neah Bay, Beaver, Sappho, Pysht, western Jefferson County and other areas west of Lake Crescent.

The next scheduled outages are Saturday, Sept. 21, and Sunday, Oct. 13.
