Presidential Primary Logic and Accuracy Tests Scheduled

CLALLAM COUNTY – The Clallam County Elections Division will perform the county’s official Logic and Accuracy Test of our ballot tabulation system on February 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Testing of the Accessible Voting Unit (AVU) will be conducted on February 26, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. The official testing will take place in the Elections Center located on the basement level of the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E 4th St, Room 072, Port Angeles, WA.

Logic and accuracy testing is a standard pre-election procedure. Clallam County Elections conducts the testing to ensure the AVU and tabulation system (hardware and software) function properly and are accurately programmed for each election. A representative of the Office of the Secretary of State will also be in attendance.

The testing is open to the public, with limited in-person observation space available. We will be livestreaming the testing for anyone who would like to observe virtually. To view the livestream, visit the Clallam County Elections website at www.clallamcountywa.gov/elections.

Ballots will be mailed to registered voters on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Election Day is Tuesday, March 12, 2024.
