On Dec. 26 at about 8:06 p.m., Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area of milepost 49 on Highway 112 on a report of a robbery that had just occurred. The victim reported his vehicle had broken down on the side of Highway 112. While he waited for assistance, two unidentified males pulled their pick-up truck in behind the victim and asked if he needed help.

During the assault, one of the suspects ripped the victim’s wallet from his pocket, stole all of the cash inside, and then dropped the wallet.

The suspects returned their vehicle and fled west on Highway 112 at a high rate of speed.
