Dennis Howard Bender, Age 61, passed away on October 25, 2019, after a short but fierce battle with cancer.

He was born to Francis Audrey and Charles Roy Bender on February 13, 1958, in Watertown NY. He moved to Washington in 1980. Dennis married Carol Harrison June 7, 1982. They have 5 children.

The Family resided in La Push WA, Where Dennis worked as a Mechanic, logger, mushroom picker and finally a fisherman. Dennis survived a boating accident in Sept. 2012, 30 miles southwest of the Quileute River. He was an exceptional, loving man, Hero to most and loved by many.

Survived by:Wife: Carol Bender of La Push, Daughters: Nicole Rosander (Darrin Rosander) of La Push, Dawn Reid (Vincent Reid) of La Push, Crystal Easter (Steven Easter) of Seattle. Sons: Dennis “Bub” Bender of La Push, Donovan Ward (Jana Stock) of La Push. Siblings: Rebecca Dodge (Craig Dodge) of Watertown NY, Janet Ferguson (John Schleher) of Clayton NY, Holly Coburn (Dee Coburn) of Port Angeles WA, Ray Bender of Clayton NY, Kandy Bender (sister-in-law) of Clayton NY, 21 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
