Clallam Bay Lions Club fishing derby set

Children ages 5-14 are invited to take place in the Clallam Bay-Sekiu Lions Club’s annual Kids Salmon Derby on Saturday, Aug. 17.

The derby is free.

First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded for legal salmon. A prize smorgasbord will be awarded to runners-up.

Refreshments will be served at the Lions Club swings near Olson’s Resort.

Registration starts at 5:30 a.m. at Olson’s and Van Riper’s resort.

The Lions Club Kids Derby is supported by donations from individuals and local businesses.
