Thomas L. Scheller

November 23, 1980 – February 1, 2017

Thomas was born in Forks, Washington on November 23, 1980. He grew up in Forks and is a 2000 graduate of Forks High School. At the time of his death he lived in Manteno, Illinois where he worked as a Journeyman Lineman doing line construction, he was a member of IBEW Local 429.

Thomas enjoyed his work very much, especially storm work, restoring power after ice storms in Michigan, Illinois, tornados in tornado alley, or after hurricanes in Florida, Louisiana and all over the south-east including some of the biggest (Charley, Dennis, Katrina, Rita, and many more). He lived in Tennessee for most of the 2000s and 2010s. Thomas loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, photography, snowboarding and especially the beach. Thomas lived his life to the fullest, always up for a good time. He loved his friends and family dearly, as they did him. He enjoyed spending time with them every chance he got.

Thomas is survived by his mother Becky Scheller, stepdad Steven Zoffel, brothers Tony Scheller, Sean (Roseanna) Scheller, Leonard Aplin, sisters Rose Micks and Leann Micks, Grandmother Jackie Windle, his second family Pete, Sande and PK Strom, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father Thomas Micks and his Grandfather Keith Windle. A celebration of life will be held Memorial Day weekend.
