Accident LaPush Road

The Washington State Patrol reports that a one car accident occurred just before 5 p.m., Thursday Sept. 22, on State Route 110 about 4 miles from La Push. The driver of a 1998 Dodge Dakota pick-up, Jeffrey Alma, age 30, of Federal Way, was driving at a high rate of speed, left the roadway to the right, struck the ditch, and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on its top in the eastbound lane. Also in the vehicle was Sheri Alma, age 46, also of Federal Way. Both were transported by Aid to Forks Community Hospital. Jeffrey Alma was later booked into Clallam County Jail and charged with DIU Felony Hit and Run. The roadway was partially blocked for 6 hours. It is unknown if Jeffrey Alma was wearing a seat belt, Sheri Alma was not.
