Folks for Change hosted the Clallam County League of Women Voters on Saturday, March 23, to an audience of twelve. The LWV representatives brought their mission statement to life, with real-life stories of nonpartisan civic involvement.

It became clearly apparent that one of their greatest desires is to encourage citizens to become more involved in local, county, and national government. They do this by providing trainings, political forums, educational opportunities, and more. They are also known for providing clear, accurate, and impartial information about political candidates running for office, and they continually encourage all citizens to vote.

Folks for Change wants to thank the Clallam County League of Women Voters for all of the important work that they do.
