On Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m. Michael Brophy will present “Irish Research”— a program hosted by The Clallam County Genealogical Society. His talk will be general and cover all of the major religious groups of Ireland and their different time frames. Irish research has unique challenges and Mr. Brophy will present some of the unusual methodology that is used to successfully find your Irish roots. Making connections with our immigrant forbearers provides insight to the unique history of the Irish.

Michael Brophy is a nationally known speaker and researcher, specializing in New England and Irish genealogy. He conducted research for the episode of the TV series, Who Do You Think You Are? examining the ancestry of actress, Gweneth Paltrow. He is a wonderful speaker who is returning by popular demand.

The program will be presented on Zoom. All are welcome to watch it at the Clallam County Genealogical Society’s Research Center, 403 E. 8th Street, Port Angeles.
