Little Loggers Gather

Published 1:30 am Thursday, October 26, 2023

The Little Logger photo is always a challenge …this was the best the photographer could get with almost everyone in the photo, with some parental support. Participants were, and not necessarily in this order, (but close) Harper, Haiden, Aven, Ivery (2nd place), Brynlee, Forrest (1st place), Jace, James, Caden, Brooks (3rd place), Danali, and Brody, and two who came late. All got a bag of treats from the Forks Forum and a Sully’s ice cream cone certificate. Photos Christi Baron

Mom Aspen puts on Ivery’s custom-crocheted caulk boots! But they didn’t want to stay on. Ivery won a $15 gift card.
Appropriately, a little logger named Forrest, top left on the hay, with the little chainsaw, took first place. Brooks at the very end on the right took 3rd place. Forrest won a $25 gift card and Brooks a $10 gift card.
Aven, center with suspenders, was on the move as Ivery fell over and Harper and Haiden looked on. A special thanks to Rex Shaw for providing the hay. It made the falling-over part better. Thanks to the judges, it was a tough job, and thanks to Sully’s for the ice cream cone certificates.

Organizers for Hickory – Shirt Heritage Days took a break this year …but the cry went out for the Little Logger contest to still happen …That activity took place on Sunday outside Outfitters. About 14 Little Loggers took part.
