61st QVSA sets new record $218,002!

Saturday saw a new one day record of $75,00 set, and a new all-time record, as of Monday morning, of $218,002 after adding in the cash donations that were received.

Photo Christi Baron Senior class of 2025 members worked hard over the two days. Here a group is selecting some of the next items to go up for bid. Everything from farm fresh eggs, to goats to antique sewing machines, artwork, and more were auctioned off over the two days.
Photo Christi Baron Donations of all kinds can be found at the QVSA. Many talented locals go all out and create special items just for this occasion. Darren Sackett created these chairs as well as a number of other items.

Photo Lonnie Archibald Dylan Micheau guards the old FHS Spartan sign that once stood in front of the high school.The sign went up for auction Sunday afternoon and was purchased for $11,500, and will remain in the community on display. Maybe another story …where has it been for 4 years?

Senior parents kept the hungry bidders fed all weekend with some really great food. Funds raised from the auction concessions help fund the Senior Safe Night party after graduation. Photo Christi Baron
