Cribbage Tournament Brings Competitive Fun to Fourth of July Weekend

Thirty-six players gathered on Saturday, July 5, for the annual Fourth of July Cribbage Tournament, held at the Congregational Church, and competed for 15 prize spots and bragging rights in a spirited evening of cards, camaraderie, and cookies.

Miles Davidson took home 1st place honors, followed by Wade McCoy in 2nd and Alissa Kilmer in 3rd. Rounding out the winners were Tina Joseph, Dan Dankert, David Pagel, Allison, Linda Peterson, Steve Dalman, Dave Watson, Teddy Rasmussen, Travis Christensen, Bob Johnston, Francis Blakely, and Floyd McCoy — who also claimed the Split the Pot prize.

Players enjoyed homemade cookies, lemon water, and coffee while battling it out across the boards in a friendly but competitive atmosphere.
