Fish, fun, and foam at the Roundhouse

Mark your calendars and bring your appetites—because Forks is about to go fish-crazy! The Pacific Coast Salmon Coalition’s Fish N Brew splashes into the Kit’la Center Roundhouse, 100 La Push Rd., on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 3 to 9 p.m., and it’s shaping up to be one whale of a good time.

The fun kicks off at 3 p.m. with the Bear Creek Builder’s Brew Garden, sizzling Salty Heifer Burgers, and “Smoltville,” a salmon-themed kids’ zone full of games, coloring, and plenty of fishy fun.

From 3 to 6 p.m., things heat up with the Fish N Brew Competition. Local cooks and brewers will throw down their tastiest creations, and the public gets to be the judge. For just $10, you can taste your way through the entries and vote for your favorite—winner takes home a trophy and serious bragging rights. Add in craft vendors, salmon project info booths, and you’ve got yourself an afternoon full of flavor and fun.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. From 6 to 9 p.m., the party keeps rolling with live music from The Works!, keeping the crowd dancing while the silent auction closes at 7 p.m. Think great tunes, good brews, and maybe even snagging that must-have item you didn’t know you needed.

And yes—there will be plenty of swag. Commemorative glasses, shirts, hats, a 50/50 raffle, and of course, the Brew Garden with craft beer and seltzer donated by local favorites like Bar Hop and FinnRiver.

Want to join the action behind the scenes? Volunteers are still needed for everything from the silent auction to the kids’ corner. As a thank-you, helpers score their own commemorative glass and a free pour.

Whether you’re coming for the food, the beer, the music, or just a fin-tastic time with friends, Fish N Brew is the place to be.
