Clallam County Preparing for Nov. 4 General Election

The Clallam County Auditor’s Office has announced that the 2025 General Election will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4, and conducted entirely by mail. Voters will decide on state measures, county charter amendments, local propositions, and elect candidates to county offices.
Ballots were to be mailed to all registered voters on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Residents who need to register to vote or update their information have until Oct. 27 to do so online or by mail. Voter registration forms and information can be found at www.clallamcountywa.gov/elections or at the state’s voter portal VoteWA.gov.
Voters may also register or update their registration in person at the Clallam County Elections and Voter Registration Office, located on the lower level of the county courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Room 042, in Port Angeles. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Registered voters who do not update their residential address by the deadlines may still vote according to their previous registration.
An Accessible Voting Unit will be available at the Elections Office beginning Oct. 15 through 8 p.m. on Election Day to assist elderly voters and those with disabilities in casting their ballots.
The Clallam County Canvassing Board will meet publicly to review and certify election results at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, and 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room, Room 160, at the courthouse.
