Malachi Rowley
Malachi truly embodies what it means to be Authentically Unique. He consistently demonstrates a positive attitude in the classroom, approaching each day and every task with determination and a willingness to improve. His strong work ethic is evident in his desire to not only succeed, but to give his best effort in everything he does.
Beyond academics, he shows genuine compassion and respect for others, often supporting his peers and contributing to a positive classroom environment. His character extends outside of school as well, where he serves his community, demonstrating courage, responsibility, and a commitment to helping others.
His combination of positivity, perseverance, and selflessness makes him a standout student and a role model for those around him.
Mr. Vallejo
Leum Dahl
I am proud to nominate Leum Dahl for the Authentically Unique Student of Character recognition. In the time that I have known him, Leum has distinguished himself through an inquisitive spirit and a self-determined work ethic that is truly unmatched.
While many students are capable and hardworking, Leum separates himself through his unorthodox, outside-of-the-box approach to problem-solving. He possesses a deep-thinking mind that refuses to settle for the obvious answer; instead, he intentionally seeks ways to transform routine assignments into personal challenges that demand higher-level engagement. Perhaps most impressive is Leum’s remarkable independence.
He operates with a quiet self-reliance that is entirely uninfluenced by the collective clamor or opinions of his peers. He is the architect of his own learning, navigating the classroom with a maturity and intellectual curiosity that is both rare and refreshingly authentic.
Dr. Cavill
Cheyene (Da GOAT) Fryberg
Cheyene is bubbly, colorful, and exuberant in all the best ways. No one else can do what she does; she’s Da GOAT!
Ms. Brickey
Ivan Rivera Bastida
Ivan is always present in a calm, quiet way that is uniquely his own. He is introspective, perspective, and quietly confident.
Ms. Brickey
Sara Sifuentes
I wholeheartedly nominate Sara Sifuentes as a representative of Authentically Unique in the Student of Character program. Sara is a true renaissance-person, possessing a multifaceted capability that allows her to shine in remarkably diverse arenas.
She is a rare blend of athlete, scholar, leader, and empath; a student who can pivot from a rigorous academic debate to a lighthearted joke without ever losing her sense of self. Sara’s uniqueness stems from a multifaceted core that reveals itself in her ability to adapt to any environment and set the bar for excellence, whether in her skillful artistic output or her collaborative work as a teammate.
Despite her many roles, she remains profoundly comfortable in her own skin, moving through the school day with an authentic self-assurance that inspires those around her. Sara does not just fit into our school community; she changes it for the better by simply being exactly who she is.
