Two students from Quileute Tribal School earned top honors at the 69th Annual Washington State Science and Engineering Fair, held March 27–28.

Denise Ward-Bender received a third-place award and ribbon for her project, while Zaya (Isaiah) Jackson earned a first-place award, along with a trophy and ribbon.

The students are part of teacher Alice Ryan’s class, which saw strong participation and performance at this year’s state competition.

The students’ achievements highlight the quality of work coming from Quileute Tribal School and their success at the state level.
