8th Grade: Kimberly Jeronimo-Pablo

Kimberly Jeronimo-Pablo was selected as April Student of the Month for 8th grade. Her favorites include quesabirrias, the color emerald green, algebra, listening to podcasts and storytelling, and pandas. When she grows up, she hopes to become an apparel designer.

Her science teacher, Mrs. Cook, said, “Kimi is such a wonderful student. She may not engage in much discussion, but she shows her learning through thoughtful written work. She pays close attention to detail and produces beautiful diagrams, tables, and responses. She always asks for help when needed, and I’m very proud of her progress in science this year.”

Ms. Palmer, her yearbook teacher, added, “Kimi is a kind and conscientious student who always tries her best and does it with a smile that lights up a room. She consistently sets the bar higher for herself academically and personally. It has been a joy to watch her grow over the past four years.”

Mrs. Highfield, her PE teacher, said, “Kimi always puts forth her best effort in any task and is kind and polite to everyone around her.”

Kimi would like to thank her parents and Mrs. Rogers for their support. Congratulations, Kimi!

7th Grade: Kaden Woody

Kaden Woody was selected as April Student of the Month for 7th grade. His favorites include burgers, the color green, math, sports, and frogs.

Miss Gingrich, his social studies teacher, said, “Kaden is an excellent role model and natural leader in the classroom. He is very helpful toward his peers and always puts forth exceptional effort.”

Mrs. Highfield, his PE teacher, said, “Kaden is a kind and positive person who follows class expectations and fully engages in class.”

His ELA teacher, Mrs. Johanson, described him as reliable and trustworthy, noting he consistently completes quality work, helps classmates, and brings positivity to class.

Math teacher Ms. Whitehead added, “Kaden is kind to peers and adults, completes quality work efficiently, and is a scholar-athlete participating in track, football, and basketball.”

Kaden thanked his mom, dad, and sister for supporting him. Way to go, Kaden!

6th Grade: Carina Lopez Calmo

Carina Lopez Calmo was selected as April Student of the Month for 6th grade. Her favorites include teriyaki chicken with rice, the colors red, purple, and blue, basketball, volleyball, studying, learning, and dogs. She hopes to become a surgeon.

Miss Klebe, her ELA teacher, said Carina consistently works through challenges, asks questions, and stays determined until she understands concepts. “She cares deeply about her academics and friends and brings a positive presence to the classroom.”

Mrs. Echeita, her social studies teacher, praised Carina’s attention to detail, motivation, and growth throughout the year, calling her a hardworking and eager learner.

Mrs. Highfield added, “Carina is a fun student to have in class. She is positive and has many talents.”

Science teacher Ms. Kearns highlighted Carina’s enthusiasm for learning, leadership in group projects, and passion for plants and science. “She has the true heart of a scientist and a farmer. Carina is a joy to have in class, and I’m excited to see where her future takes her.”

Carina would like to thank her mom, dad, and sister for supporting her. Congratulations, Carina!

5th Grade: Waverly Fletcher

Waverly Fletcher was selected as April Student of the Month for 5th grade. Her favorites include strawberries, crepes, pizza, the colors baby blue and light yellow, ELA, volleyball, softball, labs, and fawns. As a teenager, she hopes to work at Bug and Buf’s coffee stand.

Mrs. Camacho-Carver, her social studies teacher, said, “Waverly is a courteous student who consistently tries her best. She follows directions well and can be depended on to do the right thing.”

Mrs. Highfield said, “Waverly engages in all PE activities and always puts forth her best effort.”

Her music teacher, Mrs. Murillo, added, “Waverly is conscientious about completing her work, learns concepts quickly, and willingly helps classmates. She performs well on a variety of instruments.”

Waverly would like to thank her brother, mom, and dad for supporting her in everything she does. Way to go, Waverly!
