Sixteen-month-old Hayzlee Price was definitely ready for the starting signal Sunday at the Lions Club’s Kiddies Play Day. Races, a balloon toss, watermelon eating, etc., drew a good crowd for the events.
Go big or go home …. Dahlgren’s went big …bringing maybe the largest 4th of July parade entry ever, this huge tower as well as a nice load of logs. Dahlgren’s entry was awarded the Parade’s Grand Sweepstakes Award. (Watch for full parade results next week).
Quileute Days was one of many Festival entries in the parade on Saturday. A reminder: Quileute Days will take place July 17-19 with many traditional activities and some new ones too!
