Celebrating its 50th year of service, the Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) is officially rebranding as Aging & Adult Services of Coastal Washington. This change reflects a commitment to the region’s unique coastal identity and a major expansion of services.

Dear Community Members, Partners, and Friends,

For five decades, the Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) has been your trusted partner in navigating the journey of aging. As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we are thrilled to announce a significant evolution in our identity.

We are officially becoming Aging & Adult Services of Coastal Washington

While our name is changing, our mission remains the same: to empower independence and provide steady support for older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers across our beautiful coastal region. This new identity better reflects the unique communities we serve—from the rugged Pacific shoreline to our quiet evergreen forests.

Growing to Meet Your Needs

This milestone year isn’t just about looking back; it’s about moving forward. To mark our 50th year, we are launching several critical new programs designed to enhance health and security for our neighbors:

WA Cares Fund Support

We are now a primary local resource for the WA Cares Fund, Washington’s first-in-the-nation long-term care insurance program. We can help you understand your future benefits and how they can pay for home-delivered meals, transportation, and home modifications.

Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN)

We are expanding our reach to address the “whole person.” Through HRSN services, we provide qualifying Apple Health (Medicaid) members with non-medical support like nutrition assistance and home modifications to improve overall health outcomes.

Rural Health Transformation

We are championing rural health initiatives to ensure that living in a remote area never means having less access to high-quality care. This includes strengthening local provider networks and improving service delivery across our coastal counties.

Join Us in This New Chapter

Our new look—inspired by the tranquil blues and greens of the Washington coast—symbolizes the peace of mind we strive to bring to every family we serve.

We invite you to explore our updated resources and learn more about these new services by visiting our website or contacting your local office. Thank you for being part of our story for the last 50 years. Here’s to 50 more years of care, connection, and community.

Warmly,

The Team at
