New DOT-approved speed reminder signs will soon greet drivers entering Forks from both the north and south. One sign was purchased with approval from the Forks Chamber of Commerce Board, while the second was donated by Forks business owner and City Council member Vilkesh Patel. Pictured are Patel and Forks Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lissy Andros with one of the new signs. It is hoped that when installed, the signs will encourage motorists to slow down as they enter the community.
