CLALLAM COUNTY FAIR SEEKS NOMINATIONS FOR 2026

‘FARM FAMILY OF THE YEAR’
(Clallam County Fair, Port Angeles, Wa.) The 2026 Clallam County Fair seeks nominations for the 2026 Farm Family of the Year. This award is to honor a Clallam County Farm that epitomizes the spirit of the industry, to show appreciation for hardworking Clallam County Farm families committed to the agriculture and aquaculture of Clallam County. The Clallam County Fair invites the public to submit nominations for the 2026 Farm Family. Farm may nominate themselves. Deadline is June 15, 2026.
Family will be notified and farm family will be announced at the opening day of 2026 fair, August 20, 6 pm at the Sunny Farm Stage.
The Farm Family will receive 10 (ten) day passes to enter the fair.
Nominations need to include details about the farm and how the family is incorporated and how they fulfill the following criteria:
1.Productions of Clallam County Grown Products (not based on quantity).
2.Community involvement (civic organizations, school, sports, etc.).
3.Involvement in agriculture industry organizations (local, state, and federal).
4.Overall farm family image, farming history, and unique or special production.
(Pictures are optional but will not affect the outcome.)
Along with nomination of farm, list person nominating, and contact information. Also include contact name for farm, farm contact mailing address, farm contact phone number and email.
