Historic Preservation Grant Applications Open in Clallam County

CLALLAM COUNTY — The Clallam County Heritage Advisory Board is accepting applications for historic preservation grants to support projects that preserve and promote local history.
Under state law, the grant funds are designated for projects that “promote historical preservation or historical programs,” including the preservation of historic documents. Eligible projects may include public programming, capital improvements, equipment purchases, collections management and training efforts aimed at preserving and enhancing Clallam County history for residents, visitors and future generations.
Applications may be submitted by public entities, nonprofit tax-exempt organizations that own or operate museums or historical institutions, groups providing educational or interpretive programs focused on local history, and individuals or organizations that own properties within Clallam County listed on local, state or national historic registers.
Applications must be received by 12 p.m. on June 23, 2026.
