Clark ‘CB’ Browning

November 17, 1938 – May 7, 2026

CB passed away in Morton, WA at the home of his daughter Sharlene Schultz. Born in Longview, WA to Harry and Elsie (Isaacson) Browning, he grew up in Beaver, WA and attended Beaver School. When school let out he often ran to the top of Beaver Hill to flag down a log truck. Fred Shaw always stopped for him. CB started driving truck at 16. He hauled for Tom Braithwaite, Brager Brothers and for over 25 years, Barry Swanson Trucking. Hauling all over the PNW and Alaska. CB was happiest in his truck, on his radio, smoking a cigar and hauling logs.

CB enjoyed being with his friends, family, camping at the beach and clam digging. The highlight of his year was the Deming Logging Show, which he attended for 50 years.

He is predeceased by brother Harry Jr. (Speed), wife Dixie Lee, and son-in-law Don Schultz.

Surviving are son Clark(Randy)Browning, daughter Sharlene Schultz and Diane Browning, son Chris Browning (Emily) son Brian Browning(Stephanie), seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren

A Celebration of Life to be held at The Roundhouse,110 Lapush Rd, Forks, WA, on June 6, at 1 pm.
