Donald Ray Engeseth, 71, of Beaver, Washington, passed away on March 20, 2026. He was born on March 31, 1954, in Forks, Washington, to Clarence and Wilma Engeseth.

Raised in Beaver, Donnie spent his entire life in the community he loved. Known for his strong work ethic, generous heart, and larger-than-life personality, he dedicated much of his life to logging and family. In 1977, he and his father founded Engeseth Logging, a business they built together and later operated alongside Donnie’s son, Brent. Donnie retired in 2022 after a career spanning decades in the logging industry.

Donnie married his beloved wife, Maureen, in 1972, and together they raised three children: Brent, Melissa, and Sena. Family was at the center of his life. He took great pride in sharing outdoor traditions with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, including fishing, hunting, clam digging, crabbing, and camping along the Quillayute River.

A dedicated member of the Beaver community, Donnie served as a volunteer firefighter for more than 20 years. He was known for his welcoming nature, quick wit, love of storytelling, and ability to make everyone feel like family. Whether through a game of cribbage, a fishing trip, or a simple conversation, he touched countless lives with his kindness, humor, and steadfast support.

Donnie is survived by his wife, Maureen; children Brent (Heather), Melissa (Alan), and Sena; grandchildren Tanner Robison, Chloe (Shane) Queen, Hailey Engeseth, Trevor (Hadleigh) Engeseth, and Wyatt Engeseth; great-grandchildren Kade, Wrenlee, Maverick, Briar, Sutton, and Palmer; sisters Deborah (Dave) Micheau, Darlene (Ken) Olson, Marta (Rich) Christensen, and Starla (Wayne) Daman; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Wilma Engeseth; nephew Dennis Micheau; great-nephew Steven “Bubba” Neel; and his lifelong friend Wayne Queen.

Donnie will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family, his love of the outdoors, his commitment to his community, and the kindness and laughter he shared with all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held July 11 at 2 p.m. at his home, 183 West Lake Pleasant Road.
