There was a bit of excitement Friday morning as many residents received "tornado" warnings on their phones ...as warnings were issued along the coast. This photo was taken by Matt Nichols. He shared, "Got a brief taste of home chasing this tornado warned storm.. you could see the "Wall cloud" at Rialto beach. For those who aren't aware of what that is, a wall cloud is this low-lying cloud from which sometimes a tornado is produced." So has Forks ever had a tornado? NOAA weather observer Jerry King shared, "I remember back in the 50’s we had a wind twister that blew down Mini Peterson's shed."
