West End 9-1-1 Calls Oct. 27-Nov. 3

Oct. 27

Earlier last month, a Quileute Natural Resources jet boat crew sprang into action after an emergency call involving a drift boat stranded in swift waters. Dustin Larkin and Tony Foster, piloted their boat to the scene, where they found three fishermen in need of assistance. The duo worked swiftly to bring all three men safely ashore.
Once the fishermen were safe, Larkin and Foster turned their attention to the stranded boat, teaming up with the Clallam County Fire Protection District #1 Swift Water Rescue Team. Together, they worked to save the boat. Their coordinated efforts turned a potential disaster into a successful rescue. Submitted photo
