Forks Middle School Term 3 Honor Roll

Grade 5 Honor Roll

Clallam County Sheriff Brian King and Clallam County Commissioner Mike French attended the May 1 meeting of Friends of Forks Animals to discuss some issues that have plagued FOFA for some time now. Local Veterinarian Dr. Pat Dowell also joined the meeting. Included in the discussion were county animals being placed in the city shelter, OPHS’s perceived reluctance to accept unclaimed West End animals, the lack of Animal Control on the West End, and the breakdown of communication among the county, the city, and FOFA. It was a productive meeting and will hopefully result in better care for West End pets, especially those who have lost their owners. Submitted Photos
