Veteran and American Legion member Joe Offutt looks on after placing a wreath at the grave of Dean Kilgore. Kilgore was born in Missouri in 1897 and served during WWI. He was a member of the American Legion and teacher and Superintendent at Quillayute Union High School and passed at the young age of 42 in 1940.
