Photo Lonnie Archibald Forks began celebrating when the final horn sounded giving the Spartans a win and the PAC 2B league championship as they defeated North Beach Friday night Jan. 31 at home. Among the group are seniors Kyle Lohrengel (1) and DeAnthony Davila (3). Spartan seniors were also honored during the game. More photos page 3.

Photos Starla Daman Two scoreboards were recently installed at the Fred Orr Ball fields in Beaver, committee member Starla Daman shared the following on social media, “On behalf of the Fred Orr Memorial Baseball Field Committee we would like to thank the Quileute Tribe for the donation of the amazing scoreboards! We would also like to thank the Forks Lions Club for the hours of work to complete the installation.” She also thanked an unnamed community member who ‘made a substantial donation’ to the installation activity.

Photo by Lonnie Archibald Forks’ Avery Dilley jumps against Raymond South Bend in the Spartan gym where the Ravens outlasted the Spartans by way of a 54 to 47 score in Pacific 2B league action. Forks had defeated the Ravens earlier in the season on the Ravens home cout but this contest was reversed as too many turnovers and fouls hampered the Spartan’s chance to win this hard-fought contest, especially in the first half of play. Other Spartans from left are Chloe Gaydeski, Karee Neel, Fynlie Peters, and Bailey Johnson.
