Hunter Education Scholarship

A $2,500 scholarship is available for high school juniors an seniors who have attained a Hunter Education Certificate, application deadline is June 9, (high school juniors and seniors at the time of the deadline date). Music Scholarship

Monday Musicale is inviting Clallam County high school seniors who are going on to major or minor in music or continue private music lessons to apply and audition for a music scholarship.

First place, in honor of Richard McCoy is $3,000. Second place is $2,000 and third is $1,000.

Auditions will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 6, at First Presbyterian Church, 139 W. 5th St., Port Angeles. Three professional musicians will serve as adjudicators.

Intrumentalists should prepare a classical piece not to exceed 10 minutes. Vocalists should have two selections of varied style. Applications are available from the school’s scholarship counselor. Homeschool students can call Margot Hewitt, Scholarship Chair, for an application at 360-457-4494.

Family, friends and general public are invited to attend.
