George Christianson Peabody of Port Angeles, and Kimberly Renee Skannes of Forks, were married on Aug. 11, 2017, at 5:45 p.m. in Phoenix, Ariz.
The groom’s parents are the late George Frank Peabody of Port Angeles and Lora Griffith of Tampa, Fla. The bride’s parents are Kevin and Diane O’Hara of Forks and Dennis and Barb Cox of Port Angeles
Also taking part in the ceremony were flower girl Brylee Renee Skannes, ring bearer Brooklyn May Skannes, Officiant Reverend Carol, and Fable Photo and Video.
Concluding the ceremony and reception, the bride, groom and ring bearer jumped into the resort pool in wedding attire.
The couple now resides in Lakebay, Wash.
The bride graduated Forks High School in 2003 and is now a licensed cosmetologist. The groom graduated from Port Angeles High School in 1994 and is working on his degree in business management. He is employed as project manager of Lakeside Industries Lacey Division.
