Please join the Department of Natural Resources for the 7th annual science conference of the Olympic Experimental State Forest (OESF) – Linking Science to Natural Resource Management.

This year’s event will be held at the Rainforest Arts Center in Forks, on April 24, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Morning Sessions

Presentations on the Type 3 (T3) Watershed Experiment, riparian validation monitoring, passive acoustic monitoring, amphibian response to logging, and more.

Posters on environmental monitoring and research projects in the OESF.

Information table on the T3 Watershed Experiment learning groups.

Afternoon Sessions: Your Choice!

Visit an active riparian habitat restoration site, or

Panel discussion on ungulate monitoring and modeling.

Registration

The conference is free, but registration is required. Please register by April 15. Before the conference, you will receive a program with an agenda, map, scientific abstracts, and other information.
