Clallam County seeks volunteers for Housing Solutions Committee

On March 15, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners established a Housing Solutions Committee under Resolution 32, 2022. The committee will be responsible for developing programs to promote housing solutions in Clallam County. The committee will also make recommendations to the Board of Clallam County Commissioners and the Opportunity Fund Board for expenditures of 1406 funds, American Rescue Plan Act funding related to housing solutions, Opportunity Fund infrastructure for housing and other funds that can be used for affordable housing.

The committee will consist of 20 voting members, with one voting member from each of the following: Clallam County Commissioner, Clallam County Department of Community Development Director, City of Forks, City of Port Angeles, City of Sequim, North Peninsula Building Association, Sequim Realtors Association, Port Angeles Realtors Association, Peninsula Housing Authority, Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County, North Olympic Regional Veteran’s Housing Network, Serenity House of Clallam County, Peninsula Behavioral Health, Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCap), Healthy Families of Clallam County, Port of Port Angeles, Economic Development Council, Tribal Governments and At-Large.
