Comicon II hits Clallam Bay

Comicon II again joins the slate of Fun Days activities this weekend.

Comic artists from across the nation will again join in to help celebrate their art at the Clallam Bay Comicon.

Last year’s Comicon drew many of the Fun Days crowd in to see panel-by-panel creations, according to Donna Barr, organizer of the event and author of the Desert Peach comics.

Other comic artists expected for the event are Seattle comics author Robert Gregory, Ann S. Koi from Virginia and Your Mom Comics.

The show is in the Clallam Bay/Sekiu Lions Club building at 90 Bogachiel Way in Clallam Bay.

Events include instructional panels, pirate songs and a front porch gaming marathon.

Barr added that Niall Townley will run a panel on costume play, or “cosplay” in which people celebrate fictional characters in full makeup and dress.

Dara Korrati will serenade conventioneers with songs of piracy from the high Columbia River.

Official red Comicon T-shirts will be available at the event.

Clallam Bay Comicon has no cost for admission.
