Fish stories

Bug out!

The Quileute Tribe and Streamkeepers are seeking volunteers to help collect and sort stream bugs. It’s all part of a larger effort to assess the health of streams in the West End. Volunteers will collect samples in the Forks area during the summer and perhaps help sort through bug samples the following months in the Port Angeles office. No previous experience or special equipment is required and training is scheduled to meet the availability of the trainees. To participate, contact Nicole Rasmussen with Quileute Nation – Natural Resources at (360) 374-2423 or nicole.rasmussen@quileute-nation.org.
