Congressional candidates invited to Forks Chamber meeting

Wednesday, Sept. 5

The Fork Chamber of Commerce is inviting candidates running to replace Rep. Norm Dicks (D-Hoquiam) in the 6th Congressional District, Washington state in the upcoming general election.

So far Republican candidate Bill Driscoll has committed to attending the Chamber’s Wednesday, Sept. 5 meeting.

Democrat candidate Derek Kilmer has been invited, but hasn’t yet responded to the invitation.

The Sept. 5 meeting will be held at JT’s Sweet Stuffs on N. Forks Ave. beginning at noon. The public is invited to attend the meeting.

The Chamber’s monthly business meeting is usually held the first meeting of the month, but will be postponed in September until Wednesday, Sept. 12.
