Effective immediately, the City of Forks Water Superintendent, Ivan Cowles, has determined that there is no longer a need to maintain the emergency water use restrictions put into place in September.

Community members may undertake the following activities that were previously restricted or limited:

Commercial and residential lawn watering;

Commercial and residential vehicle washing, with the exception of the following:

The City still would ask that water customers limit the filling of swimming pools and hot tubs and hold off on pressure washing or hosing down of buildings and pavement.

“Water levels have come up but if we have a dry winter it is still a good idea to conserve now just in case,”  said City of Forks Attorney/Planner Rod Fleck.

The City would like to thank the community for their conservation efforts undertaken during the past two and a half months.
