Sergei Holmquist lived in Ukraine until he was 14 and his grandmother and other relatives still live there. The $11,315 dollars recently raised will be contributed to the Lutheran World Relief-Ukrainian Refugee Fund. It was a steady stream of people donating ….Teachers, kids, loggers, widows, business folks, retirees, students, real estate agents, office workers, tourists you name it…they all gave something and it ALL will go to help those in need. Those who donated were also treated to Ukrainian flag frosted sugar cookies made by A Bushel & A Peck Bakery/Starla Daman.
