The Forks Chamber of Commerce is bringing in a tourism/marketing/promotions coordinator, with funding from the City of Forks’ visitor accommodation tax. The goal of establishing the position is to attract visitors to the Forks area.

The person hired will help the sponsors of  local events in staging the events, will promote Forks to visitors through news releases, social online Web sites, hosting visiting travel writers and in other areas.

The Chamber is also hiring a part-time Web site manager to keep the www.forkswa.com up to date.
