FORKS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL NEWS

Forks Community Hospital now has a COVID-19 vaccination clinic information hotline that will be updated weekly to share important COVID-19 vaccination information. Call 360-203-0754 to hear up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination clinic information.

The message is available in English and Spanish.

This line will be updated as COVID-19 vaccination clinics are scheduled.

FCH does not choose which phase group can receive a vaccine, which hospitals receive delivery of the vaccine, and the speed of moving from one phase to another.

Governor Jay Inslee’s office can be reached at 360-902-4111 or PO Box 40002, Olympia, WA 98504-0002 for feedback regarding the phased COVID-19 vaccination plan, regional grouping, and reopening criteria.

Have a question or topic you would like to see addressed in a You and Your Health article written by one of our highly trained providers? Email information@forkshospital.org and your question or topic may be answered in a future status report and in the Forks Forum.

IMPORTANT: If you had an allergic reaction such as hives, a rash, or anaphylaxis after receiving your first COVID-19 vaccination, please call Shawn Shotwell at 360-327-8325.

If you experienced normal reactions such a soreness, physical discomfort, mild flu-like symptoms, and/or a low-grade fever please do not call. These normal reactions are your own immune system’s response and are expected.

Dr. Berry has urged anyone with a true allergic reaction to not get the second vaccine.
