A Forks man died shortly before 11 a.m. Friday in a rollover vehicle crash east of Joyce that blocked traffic on state Highway 112 for three hours, the State Patrol said in a press release.

Steven W. Warren, 41, was eastbound on 112 approaching Dodger Lane southeast of Salt Creek Recreation Area when his 1994 Plymouth Voyager van left the roadway to the right, according to the press release.

Warren, who had attended Forks High School, over-corrected his steering and went and into the westbound ditch, his vehicle coming to rest against a tree. He was deceased at the scene.

Highway 112 was fully blocked or obstructed with alternating one-lane traffic until shortly after 2 p.m.

It was unknown if Warren was wearing a seat belt or if alcohol or drugs were involved, the State Patrol said.

The agency is investigating the crash.
