Hoh Road – Work Update

Upper Hoh Road Construction Activities and Upcoming Work

Last week, Interwest Construction Inc. (ICI) set up temporary traffic control devices in preparation for the construction of the Soil Nail Retaining Wall to stabilize a steep slope at MP 7.8. The temporary traffic signal at this location will be in place until this work is completed, operating during non-working hours, with flaggers maintaining traffic control during daily work operations.

The contractor built a temporary work platform in the westbound lane to provide a foundation for the soil nail wall construction equipment to operate from. On Tuesday, May 30, work was to begin on the construction of the Soil Nail Retaining Wall.

No work was performed over the 3-day Memorial Day Holiday Weekend
