A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 7 at the mouth of the Quillayute River for the three U.S. Coast Guard service members who were killed when their helicopter crashed after hitting power wires at the mouth of the river on July 7, 2010. A wreath was dropped from a helicopter in memory of the three killed. There was one survivor. Here Quileute tribal members Roger and Arlene Jackson chant and drum along the bank of the Quillayute River while USCG personnel stand at attention.
