New Years Day Walk

Kick-off the new year by joining Friends of Hoko River State Park and Clallam Bay Sekiu Lions in a beautiful “rain forest” walk on New Year’s Day.

You’ll walk through tall trees and through gentle pastures enjoying the northwest scenes along the Little Hoko River.

Throughout Washington State Parks, folks will be enjoying a “fee-free” day on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. The guided walk starts at noon.

Come prepared in walking shoes. This walk is happening “rain or shine” so bring some rain gear.

From Highway 112 west of Clallam Bay, drive south on the Hoko-Ozette Road. Just past Cowan Heritage Area, cross the Little Hoko River bridge, and park at the gate. (Remember to take the detour as you enter Clallam Bay, to bypass the slide).
