Forks and Port Angeles libraries are seeking new members for the Quiet Readers Society Book Club. The free monthly events give adults time for uninterrupted reading, followed by an optional discussion to share book recommendations or talk about themes from current reads.

There is no assigned reading. Participants can bring their own book or pick out something from the library shelves. All readers are encouraged to attend, whether they prefer print, digital or audio formats, and are midway through a novel or just picking up a new magazine.

Monday, Dec. 22, 6–7:30 p.m. and recurring on the fourth Monday of each month.

· Port Angeles Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.

Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, 5:30–7 p.m. and recurring on the second Monday of each month.
