SIORF Festival of Trees – Additional Thanks

SIORF owes a few additional people. Thank you for helping with Festival of Trees: Halie Fletcher for tree decorating, Anne Walker for making baskets for the Quileute tree, and Chris Lukens for items for our raffle tree. We truly appreciate their contributions.

Another FHS senior who was honored this season during Senior Night was Alvaro Martin-Mendoza, who has played his trombone for 8 years in the Forks school bands.

The Spartans took first place at Winlock last weekend and had 18 boys qualify for State on February 20-21. The girls’ team will wrestle this weekend to qualify for State competition.

News

Rainforest Council for the Arts took over the Forks Library on Saturday and local artsists and crafters offered up a variety of things they worked on in the month of January. In addition to the display out front, and fresh off their crane-making fun, the Hunters were set up in the Klahn room at the Library on Saturday helping kids and some adults do some fun crafts.
